New Species is a series of sculptures showing two different growing stages of a hypothetic organism. The contrast between the organic shape, the structure inspired by the natural behavior of plants or simpler organisms, and the artificial material (PET), reflects the human desire to create alternative forms of life with technology. A liquid inside the sculptures gives them the vivid color.
